The LEAF Foundation was initiated by Dick & Johanna de Koning, founders of New Counseling Service in Bangkok. LEAF has become a resource for the less privileged in various parts of Thailand.

Projects by LEAF encompass the sponsoring of a Drinking Water Facility in Maejanoi, Maehongson Province, as well as the establishment of a Community Center next to the village, where skills can be learned about traditional weaving and organic farming. Other projects are Income Generation and Sponsoring children to complete their education.
